Wedding Minister/Certified Celebrant
Planning Your Ceremony
I like to think that this is your one and only, til death do you part, forsaking all others Wedding Ceremony. Let's make it unique, special and memorable!
After we confirm that I am available on your wedding date, take some time to check out the information on my web page. If you think we might be compatible, we'll arrange a time to Skype or Face Time so you can see that I am a real person.
If I haven't scared you away, I will ask you to confirm that you want to use me. THEN, I will lock in your date.
We will then set a time to either meet in person, SKYPE or Face Time, if you live a long distance away. This is when we will actually plan your ceremony.
These are some of the things I will ask about each of you:
How did you meet?.......Tell me about the proposal.......Groom: Why did you propose?.......Bride: Why did you say yes?.....What makes you smile when you think of each other?........What do you love most?..........What one word describes each other?...........
Do you have kids? If so, we'll plan a special way for them to be involved in your ceremony. I have some good ideas.
We'll talk about vows. Do you want to repeat after me or write your own? Traditional or Non-Traditional. It's your choice.
Religious or Non-Religious? Bible Verses? Special Readings? Something cool you found on the Internet or TV?
What about a blending ceremony? Wine? Sand? Unity Candle? Unity Cross? Wine Box? These are all very nice and meaningful.
Don't forget to get your Marriage License! You both have to go to the County Clerk/Recorder's Office. They will collect their $$ and ask you some important questions. You gotta have one of these to get married! Once you apply, the license is good for 90 days. After your ceremony, I will have our witnesses sign the license, then I will take it with me. After I fill out my part, I will send it back to the county office where you got it. In about four to five weeks, you can contact the county office and order your official copy.
